10/31/09  - Winner announced from "Spotlight on the South" (Winter 09) competition! Gianna DiBartolomeo of Miami, Florida was selected. Congrats!

10/23/09  - Juror selected for Spring 2010 edition. Beata Szechy has agreed to be the juror for the next issue of Visual Overture Magazine!

8/15/09  - Nice review of Visual Overture Fall 09 edition written by Rob Jones. Read it.

7/4/09 - New call for entries. Now accepting entries for the Winter 09 Visual Overture. Also new category only for Southern Atlantic artists called "Spotlight on the South".

7/2/09 - Deadline for Fall 09 issue completed. We received almost 200 entries from artists around the world! Jurying is currently in progress.

5/14/09 - Twitter account opened. Stay up to date by following Visual Overture on Twitter.

3/14/09 - Paypal problem fixed! False shipping & handling charge on the entry fee has been removed from Paypal screen.

 3/12/09 - New website up and running! New colors and features added.

 3/10/09 - Juror selected for Fall 2009 edition. Sheila Pree Bright has agreed to be the juror for the Fall 2009 print edition of Visual Overture Magazine, set for publication in August 2009.

 3/01/09 - The inaugural issue of Visual Overture is set for publication August 2009! Artists interested in submitting work must enter by July 1, 2009.
